LOGLINE: A young woman who can only experience pleasure through physical pain becomes infatuated with a boxer known for his hard punches.
God's Glass is a $5 million biopic aimed at starting a conversation about unconventional love in the modern world. An extremely controversial art film, God's Glass tells the life story of masochist Joanie Callahan. By focusing on the struggles Joanie faces growing up in a fundamentalist religious household, our film challenges the notions of what's "normal" and how those things came to be accepted as "normal" in the first place.
We're hoping to raise funds to make a film that will stand toe-to-toe with the titans of the independent film world. But we — and Joanie — need your help.
